The Be A Champion Foundation established its program outreach efforts in 2001 with a long-term goal of offering a unique array of programs and resources that makes a positive impact on the lives of thousands of families and students. We endeavored to remind our youth that integrity is essential to their overall success in life, to always strive for excellence, and that they have a responsibility to be good citizens in the communities where they live, work, and play.You are championing the cause of being a unique and innovative program so be a champion in all you do.

KeyKat is a duo that when seen they will never be forgotten, like Ashford and Simpson, Ike and Tina etc. Unlike these greats, this young dynamic duo has a name for themselves individually, but create fire when united. Keyon Harrold has performed trumpet, produced, composed,recorded with and/or toured with Common, Na2, Snoop Dogg, Chinah Blac, PJ Morton, Prince, Erykah Badu, Wynton Marsalis, G-Unit, Fred Hammond, The Count Basie Orchestra, Youthful Praise, Macy Gray, Destiny's Child, Stevie Wonder and the list goes on and on. His other half, Katty Rodriguez-Harrold, made her name on sax, but began singing at the age of 19 in a jam session led by her partner Keyon Harrold,Robert Glasper and the artist known as "Bilal". She has played, recorded and or sung with Jazz, Latin and Hip Hop greats James Spaulding, Patato Valdez, Marcus Persianni, Louis Bauso, Steve White, Destiny’s Child and Stevie Wonder.
