The computers section of the program will help expose the children to basic usage and assembly of computers and computer peripherals. Computers are an integral part of society today and they affect every aspect of our lives. Teaching children to navigate their way around personal computers will give them a definite heads up in whatever they do in the future.

  • Typing- this course will provide the basic fingering of the QWERTY keyboard and numeric keypad. The ability to type is an essential function of almost all jobs, and can dramaticallly help with completing schoolwork.

  • MS Office- this course will expose the children to the basic methods and functionality of the Microsoft Office Suite consisting of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, and several other useful MS progrms.

  • PC Assembly- this course will show the children the basics of computer assembly, how to get the computer up and running.


The performing arts section of this program will focus on several different areas of the arts. The idea is to expose children to different venues of creative expression. Some kids will excel in cooking and acting, while others will do better in singing and dance. Exposure to these different areas of performing arts will allow the child to make a better decision about what they would like to do in the future.

  • Music- comprised of instrumental and vocal instruction of musical genres from the Baroque to Hip Hop eras ( circa 1600-2005).

  • Art- designed to allow children to express themselves through art mediums such as paint, drawing, sculpture while educating them in the history of art.

  • Theater- designed to introduce and improve acting techniques for live and recorded performances such as plays and musicals.

  • Dance- designed to introduce and enhance dance techniques from various dance genres such as ballet, tap, jazz, and hip-hop.

  • Photography & Film- designed to introduce camera usage and develop picture taking skills from Polaroid to Digital. Motion picture filming will also be covered in this program.

  • Culinary- basic introduction to cooking and usage of kitchen appliances, following of recipes, and development of recipes.


The Math and Science section of this program will focus on stimulating the childrens interest in this important aspect of any education. The program is designed to strengthen the math and science skills of participating students. The goal of the program is to help students recognize and develop their potential to excel in math and science and encourages them to pursue postsecondary degrees in these fields.

  • Strengthening the childrens grasp on basic math and science skills through fun workshops and projects.

  • Working with children on advanced level math and science skills.

  • Increasing the childrens desire to pursue careers in related fields.
